🧲 “How I’m Building My Digital Marketing career from Scratch”
Just a few months ago, I didn’t know how SEO worked or what a landing page was. Today, I’ve built my own website, launched a blog, and started working on my first freelance project.
In this post, I’ll share the exact steps I’m taking — and how you can do it too.
If you’re just getting started, this is your sign: you don’t have to be perfect — you just need to begin.
🛤️ My Journey Into Best Digital Marketer in Malappuram
Like many people, I started with zero experience. I didn’t have a background in tech or design — just a desire to learn and build something for myself. I discovered digital marketing through online research, and eventually joined CDA Academy to get structured training in SEO, content marketing, and web design.
At first, it was overwhelming:
So many tools to learn (WordPress, Elementor, Google Analytics…)
So many terms to understand (bounce rate, funnels, PPC…)
But I stayed consistent, practiced every day, and followed a simple strategy:
Learn → Practice → Share → Improve.
Now, I’ve built my own blog, created client-ready websites, and started posting my work online to attract opportunities.
✅ The Exact Steps I Took to Start My Digital Marketing Career
🧭 1. I Chose to Learn One Thing at a Time
Instead of jumping into everything, I focused first on learning the basics of digital marketing — like SEO, content creation, and how websites work.
I joined CD Academy, which gave me structured lessons and assignments to stay on track.
💻 2. I Built My Own Website Using Elementor
To apply what I was learning, I started creating my own website using WordPress + Elementor.
This helped me practice:
Web design
Copywriting
User experience (UX)
Now I have a portfolio I can show to potential clients.
✍️ 3. I Started Blogging to Build Authority
Once my website was ready, I added a blog section.
Blogging is helping me:
Improve my writing
Show my knowledge
Get found through Google
It’s also content I can share on social media or use to build an email list in the future.
📚 4. I Learned from Real Brands and Freelancers
I started following marketers, designers, and freelancers on YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
I saved their tips, studied their strategies, and began to model what they were doing.
This gave me confidence and inspiration to create content of my own.
🚀 5. I Took Action — Even When I Wasn’t Ready
The biggest step was starting before I felt “perfect.”
I published my first blog, posted my designs, and shared what I was learning — even if it wasn’t perfect.
That’s how I built momentum and started getting noticed.
🎯 Conclusion: Start Where You Are — And Keep Going
Starting a digital marketing journey can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re doing it alone or from scratch. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: you don’t need to be an expert to start — you just need to start.
By taking small, consistent steps — learning, practicing, and creating — I’ve gone from knowing nothing to building a real foundation for my career.
If I can do it, so can you.
Your journey might look different than mine, but the path to success always starts with action. Keep learning, keep creating, and most importantly — don’t be afraid to share your progress.
